A Fish and Game Warden may be the perfect career choice if they have interest in law enforcement and love the outdoors. If so than being a Fish and Game Warden is the job for them. Being a Fish and Game Warden, they have to go to college and be enrolled in a class related to Fish and Game Warden up to 2 years. Some states require the 4 year bachelors and be at least 21 or older. Fish and Game Wardens are not just dealing with fish and game, but they are also working as a law enforcement officer who catches people breaking laws, such as spotlighting, fishing with no license, and shooting a deer off the side of the road. Wildlife Officer, Wildlife Sergeant, Wildlife Lieutenant, Wildlife Captain, and Wildlife Major. They have to go to training up to a year. Each day is a different day for a Fish and Game Warden, not only for weather but daily activities. Fish and Game Wardens may interact with public quite often, whether it is educate about conservation and wildlife, laws and regulations or hunter safety, or to help sort out problems between landowners and wildlife. Fish and Game Wardens have the pleasure to work in various location and weather. Sometimes they will work during state and federal holidays from eight a.m. to five p.m. and have days off like Saturday and Sunday. Sometimes they are even called in 24
