Becoming a Game Warden.
Many people have dreams to become many things of greatness, I’ve always dreamed of becoming a game warden. One of the main reasons I originally thought of becoming a game warden was because they spent much of their time out in the woods and in with the wildlife. Their main job is to keep animals and restricted property safe, along with making sure that people have their proper hunting and fishing licenses. I believe that my dream to become a game warden was never too farfetched in the fact that they are very important to the World. Without them hunting and fishing would most likely fly off the respectable area and drive many animals we rely on to extinction.
On the facts, Game Wardens are called many different things, such as Conservation Officers, Troopers, State Troopers, and many more. You will also need to have or acquire a Valid driver’s license, be in Good health, have a good attitude, character, and morals, be in Great Physical/Mental/Endurable Health, and some experience in handguns. You should definitely have an Associate’s degree or preferably a Bachelor’s degree in programs that are closely related to becoming a Game Warden such as; Zoology, Wildlife management, Wilderness survival, Ecology, Environmental science, Environmental studies, Biological Science, Geology, Forestry, Etc. You may also be initiated into basic training for 6-8 months, to learn about things that may be necessary for becoming a Game warden such as; Emergency First aid, Survival, Physical training, Etc.
