Having a relationship is pretty simple and easy, but staying in one is a “JOB.” A person has to work hard in order to stay in a relationship and keep that person really close. There are a lot of things that can ruin a relationship, since we have different ways and different beliefs; I looked for two amazing articles which are written by two very bright and reliable authors regarding this topic, “Why does Relationships Fail.” Randi Gunther. Ph.D. wrote an article called, "How Intimate Relationships Fail," published in Psychology Today. According to the article there are 3 major reasons why relationships fail, and these are: 1. In which he discussed 5 reasons why relationships fail, which are having different ambitions, may differ in openness, daters may differ in emotional intelligence, may differ in sociability and lastly, partners may differ in altruism or agreeableness. Having different ambitions may set couples in a different direction that may cause them to lose interest with each other and end up in the dumpster. Not being on the same page of openness may cause the two parties to have trust issues, when your partner starts to doubt you with your openness a lot of assumptions are being made and assumptions lead to big fights. Emotional intelligence differs on a person’s experiences, some people could careless while some people mistakens being possessive from caring. Indifference when it comes to sociability is a big factor, more often than not, couples cannot separate friends from their relationships and having someone who’s not socially inclined could be a huge problem.
