One problem I have always had is very fine, flat hair. Although I have long hair, it lacks the volume and fullness that I often see in other people's hair. When I was approached to try Pantene's Flat to Volumehair products, I figured I would give it a shot and hope for the best. I have used other Pantene products in the past and was happy enough with the results.

I first used the Pantene Fine Hair Solutions Flat to Volume Shampoo, and I admit I loved the smell and texture. The shampoo had a nice clean feel to it, and it did not weigh heavily on my hair. I used about the size of a quarter, or maybe a little more, to cover all my hair and did the traditional scrub and rinse.

She commented that Prell Shampoo was very harsh to the hair. I asked her to explain her meaning of harshness. It always gives my hair softness, shine and body. I challenged her to a test. I asked to to try Prell Shampoo, just once. If she did not like how it treated her hair, I would buy her a bottle of shampoo that she chooses. She was hesitant at first, I don't know why, but finally she gave it and did the Prell test. I don't think she wanted to admit that she loved it. At first she thought that perhaps I put a different shampoo in the Prell bottle and claim it to be Prell Shampoo. I would never do that and she knew it. Every time when my bottle of shampoo is coming to an end I keep thinking, what should I try next? Usually shampoo was all right but in the same time it did not do anything extraordinary for my hair. Hair is still not manageable and absolutely not soft. Next thing you know, I am on a mission hunt trying to find my next golden shampoo.

I did try many different brands low cost and high cost but in general I always get the same effect. But I have to tell you about Root Awakening Shampoo by John Frieda because it is a real deal. I have long hair, straight on the top and little wavy on the ends. Now and then there is a frizz problem. I used to get scared when I need to comb my wet hair because I know that a lot of hair will fell off. After first wash I noticed a difference. My hair was felling stronger, scalp refreshed and hair was fuller and fantastically manageable. And how can I forget, just a few hair on the bottom of my shower.
