The stakes were high for my academic and professional goals, but they were often seemingly made unattainable by personal pressures.
Of course, I was a student that hoped to attend an accredited university, but in order to, I knew I had to get outstanding grades. I was a hard worker throughout high school, and tried my best every year. I was really motivated to take AP courses as a freshman, unfortunately my school only provided honors, but I found out later that it acted as a substitute, and was accepted just the same.
