There are many things in my life that interest and excite me very much. Through all of these exciting things, baseball seems to stick out to me the most. It may be basic or very boring to many people, but to me it’s special in many ways. Ever since I was about two years old, I’ve played baseball. With these many years, I’ve faced many challenges, but I’ve had many achievements as well. These failures and achievements have shaped who I am today. They have made me a better overall person and have motivated me to reach my goals. I’ve had to overcome many chellenges through my many years of baseball whether it is physical or mental. For me confidence was the biggest key in overcoming these challenges. I never have become so down on myself that I have given up. I have always found a solution to overcome these obstacles. The most important quality is having good friendships. In baseball, you want to be the best teammate you can be. In doing this, I have gained and kept many friendships throughout the years of playing. It has also taught me how to be a leader. Being a good leader has helped me on the field and off. This means on the field I push everybody to be their best and help them when they need it most. Off the field I like to set a good example for my peers and show them what a good person does. Not only has it taught me how to be a good teammate and friend, but it has also taught me how to be a hard worker. Since I have a goal of playing baseball in college, I push myself to the maximum to be the best I can. Not only do I push myself to the maximum in baseball, I also push myself to the maximum in the classroom. Having the best grades I can is very important to me and because of my work ethic, I obtain very good grades. This has definitely made me who I am
