“Ding”, the sweet sound of the ball hitting the bat pours into the ears of the fans that have gathered to witness the game. The batter rounds the bases watching the fans erupt as the ball clears the outfield fence. Baseball is something I fell in love throughout my childhood. I have played for almost all of my life desperately trying to accomplish, in the end, my dream of playing in the MLB. Even when I was little, baseball has been something to look forward to and something to free myself from everything else. Throughout my life, baseball has helped me physically, mentally, and socially. Baseball is something that requires physical ability. In order to be prepared for a game, a player has to practice and prepare them-self for games in order to succeed. To prepare for a game, a player must work on strength, speed, and mechanics. Baseball has been something that has kept me physically active and is something that has kept me healthy. Even in games, players sprint all across the field, dive, and throw from long distances. The bases are loaded with players from the other team trying to score and win the game. Fielders are deciding in their head each possible place the ball could go, what they would do to get the ball, and where they would throw the ball to get the batter out. Situations like this happen all the time in baseball. As a player, I always try to think about what I will do depending on where the ball is hit.
