The flaws in the justice system that affected the outcome of the case of Anthony Porter initially were he had been defended by a lawyer who fell asleep in the court, assigned a judge who later left the bench over a financial scandal, and convicted a jury prejudiced by a witness's false testimony. The judge in the original Porter case later left the court because of financial scandal. Yes, it is relevant to Porter's case and it never can be a fallacy. Because, a person who attempted to falsify accounting statements for financial gain may have done many things to get more money. Many who were ordered for death penalty were innocent and the death penalty was applied unevenly and was misused. Many death-row inmates had been found innocent after DNA evidence was discovered. The imagery Ryan used in his statements about death penalty is "the demon of error". The figurative language used is metaphor-comparing two things by using one kind of object or using in place of another to suggest the likeness between them. The use of this figurative language made this argument more strong, clear, and understandable. My position on death penalty is that criminals who have committed deadly multiple homicides should be executed if there is enough evidence against them, making sure that no innocent people are punished. Yes, the the article had strengthen my position that innocent people should not be punished. Death penalty should be given only if the defendant murdered two or more people and it should not be a sentencing option when only eyewitness evidence
