The aim of this experiment is to test the changes in and effects o abiotic and biotic factors along a transect line form low tide to high tide in the mangroves at Nudgee Beach. The hypothesis is that at low tide the soil texture would be brown clay with a pH of 9-10, however; at high tide the soil would be light brown sand with a ph of 8-9. Mangroves are classified as facultative halophytes. This means that they are adapted to living in salty soil, along the seashore or in salt flats (Halophyte, 2015). The reason they are classified as halophytes, is because ocean water is not a substantial requirement for development.

Florida Keys The Florida Keys is a stretch of multiple tiny islands off the coast of Florida into the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. National Geographic states that in that long strip of land “there are approximately 1,700 little island in the Florida Keys”. Some of the islands we may know are Key West, Key Largo, Marathon and Big Pine Key. These keys are a big tourist attraction primarily for fishing, scuba diving.

The Florida Everglades is home to lots of animals, predators and plants it's home to the people that live in Florida and also to the people that care about it the everglades is a wonderful place I actually want to go there my self and see the animals and plants it's actually the habit to those animals and plants The Florida Everglades has many values it's home to the wildlife animals though it can get crazy sometimes when the animals starting to get hungry. Python and baby anaconda's are taking over our wildlife animals by killing and eating them the population of our wildlife animals have went down the Everglades according to the text it states. If I had the choice to go anywhere in this world, it would be to have one more night with my dad in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Baton Rouge is my birthplace and me and my dad shared a bond with that city. It is where he wanted me to be raised, go to college, and raise my family. He dressed me up in the gold and purple ever since I was a toddler. Imprinted the plays of the tigers and their route running so I could watch the games with him and fully understand.

Everyone has different places that brings either the best out of them, or the worse. A place that torments or simply enlightens. My place is where I find peace and joy, this place is the beach. Sometimes when I am relaxing at the beach I will listen to music. My favorite type of music to listen to while I am at the beach is Country music. Country music is upbeat and happy and most country songs talk about being on the beach or somewhere tropical. The sound of birds chirping is another thing I will hear at the beach. The big groups of seagulls will chirp loudly if someone tries to run after them or if they feel endangered.
“The sunset perspective will allow you to live a more fulfilling life.” Sunsets fill me with wonder. When I look at a sunset, I never critique it. Each sunset I witness is different in colors, unique in its shape, and scattered across the sky in its own way. I never find myself saying, “oh this sunset would be a lot better if there were more orange on the right or a deeper pink hue all across.”
Before I was in the water the whole time at the beach, until my parents would be telling me, “Now it's REALLY time to come out, your lips are getting blue.” but now I go once or maybe twice in the whole stay at the beach. It's odd because I've heard this from several people. But, this aside, it's still an enjoyable activity and it's so nice and quiet.
Repeating the cycle getting closer and closer each time until I felt the rush of the current under me and the sand being pulled out from between my toes back into the ocean. 11 years later and the fond memories of the magical and wonderful ocean would be pulled out from under me like the current itself. The day could not have felt more perfect.
