There are many social justice issues that need to be fixed in this community, but the one issue that stood out to me the most is “Food Stamps Fraud.” I believe this is a big issue that needs to be fixed because it’s unjust to many people who are not able to receive this wonderful help to support their family. This social justice issue has a lot to do with social work because we as social workers are here to help people in their time of need we are social workers are able to provide families that are in great need of food. We insure them with food for their children and them self’s, but this is very hard to accomplish when many people are taking advantage of the help the government provides for families in need. The way people take advantage of food stamps is by selling them to receive money in return or drugs, some people buy bear with food stamps. In my opinion that should not be allowed because food stamps was created to help people who are in need, people who don’t make enough money to support their family. It is not made to sale for money or drugs and alcohol beverages. Tax payers are really effected by this justice issue because they are the people who are paying for your food stamps, people get food stamps because of the tax payers that makes taxes payers very angry because that is their tax money that people are thronging away. People who are in need of food stamp assistance are also affected negatively because they may not be able to qualify for these services and of their people that misuse them are able to
