In the novel Night, Idek shows evil in every way. Idek beats on Eli’s father countless times once to try to get Eli’s gold crown from his mouth. When he wasn’t beating on one of the prisoners he was taking advantage of a young girl at the camp. We see no sign of family in Idek’s life but plenty of evil outbreaks. Even though Idek is also Jewish just like all the other members of the camps and he too treats the prisoners like the German officers would or even worse.

Only through experience of the trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved” (Helen Keller Quotes). Throughout the story, Jem (taken from the word gem meaning a cherished and prized person) is used by Harper Lee as a representation of courage. In the beginning, Jem’s first act of courage occurs when Jem accepts Dill’s provocation to go and touch the Radley house. In the story, Scout says, “In all his life, Jem has never declined a dare” (Lee 16). This quote shows how Jem would never demur any sort of challenge, even if it involved stupid or childish acts like going to a forbidden place. Scout also shows how Jem even accepted a dare from her to jump off the roof of the house as a kid.

A very interesting attribute of the last few chapters is that Alex’s use of nadsat drops in frequency when compared to him at the beginning of the book. This addressed indirectly in “Nadsat: The Argot and its implications in Anthony Burgess’s, A Clockwork Orange”. It says “That is not to say that the author is totally unconcerned with moral values. No doubt he deplores the actions of Alex as much as we do.
The quote "No matter what he does, every person on earth plays a central role in the history of the world. And normally he doesn’t know it" is from the book "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho. This quote suggests that every person has a purpose and a role to play in the world, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem. It emphasizes the idea that every individual has the power to make a difference and contribute to the greater good. This quote can be interpreted in many ways, but it ultimately highlights the importance of individual actions and the impact they can have on the world.
These include psychedelics, lack of any ethical framework, social isolation and raw enjoyment of ‘ultraviolence’ have seeped into the core of Alex, making him a lawless. He is trying to control and handle the world he creates but it overpowers him and being infantile and childish, he is crushed from the dystopian world he created.
