I agree with those who considered that the Raven is Edgar Allan Poe's greatest poem. He is very good with the rhythm of the poem. When I found out that the rhythm of the poem was supposed to represent the narrator's heartbeat, I was completely astonished! As the poem went on and the rhythm got faster, his heartbeat also became faster. In the end, his heartbeat would have been so fast that he would have eventually died because of a heart attack. I found this incredibly interesting! Maybe Poe could have done more because he was an extremely talented man, but through my eyes, this poem could not have been improved anymore.
