To be able to play softball you have to have the determination. Determination and not giving up will get you a long ways in this sport. There are steps to be a good hitter and catcher. To hit the ball as well is catch well you have to do these four steps. Learn how to swing at the balls in the strike zone. A strike zone in the places were the pitcher should pitch the ball so you can hit it. Second step is to keep your eye on the ball. If you don't keep your eye on the ball than you will not be able to ever actually hit the ball. The main things are to become a good softball player you need to love it from inside your heart.
