Rider Softball can use lean thinking to strive for perfection, and continue to improve the program. Five recommendations have been provided for the Rider Softball program. The first recommendation for Rider Softball to use lean initiatives is cost reduction, by getting a team sponsorship.

The outfield can be a difficult position to coach, especially at the Little League level. Many times, Little League Coaches simply throw players out into the grassy areas of the diamond and spend a significant amount of time launching fly balls in their direction. My life-long experiences in softball have helped me develop into the person I am today in pursuing my academic career. Through my background of being highly committed to the game, taking on leadership roles and balancing academics with athletics it has prepared me for college. By mixing the strengths of both female athletes and male athletes into a coed team, a strong, diverse, and skilled team is cultivated.” Both genders excel in different areas of sports and as kids find a mix of what their skills are, they use them with support from their teammates. Both boys and girls have different qualities that provide them with the ability to play and work hard. Even though they can be seen in different ways, they both can work on building up their skills.
