Ever since its inception, softball has witnessed milestones on its foundation. The sport today is arduously comparable to what was played in Chicago in 1889. New Technology has transformed the game immensely. For instance, bats represent the largest advancement in softball history. Softball offers many distinctive health benefits that are not apparent to the sport at a glance. As compared to other sports activities, softball is an activity that will need multiple skills, and as a result, provides total body fitness. Running, fielding in addition to throwing all have to have a coordinated attempt from different muscles through the entire body (Health Benefits of Softball Game). Additionally, softball incorporates strength and anaerobic benefits. Every individual action inside softball is an explosive action. Throwing, hitting, quick swing movements, acceleration off the bases and other things inside the ground is all about explosive. Furthermore, softball players need throwing as well as acceleration strength. A foundation in all-around strength can also be important; it helps serve as a base to build muscular strength. Not only does softball portray distinctive health benefits; management and leadership are aided by the game. Managing adversity is an essential task that softball players must accomplish because softball is known as a failure driven sport. Players are required to overcome their defeats for instance; striking out, giving up a hit on the mound, and/or making an error in the field, in a game hastily compared to life where people have more time to learn from their mistakes. Aside from competing with the challenges of adversity, the stereotypical body types of athletes in other sports, such as a feminine physique with toned, lean muscle (Andrea Paloian), do not apply to the game of softball. An engaging activity is not continuous throughout the game of softball. Players are not required to play the entire game, some only participate in the field on defense and other may only hit on offense, unlike other sports such as basketball when they have to play the entire game or sit on the bench.
