Arriving at Burgers Park just before 10:00 on Saturday the 16th of August 2014, there was an air of anticipation hanging around the park. Children were already playing in the park creating an atmosphere of innocence and hope. The crowd was gathering in the middle of the park. Everywhere were people dressed in bright clothing and clown makeup. Soon we followed everyone to the street where even more groups were gathering. School children in matching outfits excitedly huddling together in anticipation of the march, men wearing large paper maché heads and clowns everywhere. The smiling faces of the crowd was definitely hiding the seriousness of what the march was all about. The beginning of the march was delayed, but that didn't stop the children from performing they're choreographed line dances.
