A story about a scientist scavenging through disposed of remains to create an abnormal, functioning creature has been told through generations by mockery and holiday association. Whether it is the creature envious while observing other individuals react to love or dwelling on his deep desire for it himself, Mary Shelley demonstrates that not only humans can long for love but beings viewed as “less,” too. They did not care about his looks or who he is. They express appreciation for the creature’s contribution to their lifestyle and make him feel welcomed, which are emotions he has never received before. The old man was blind, so he could not see the creature’s abnormal appearance. The little girl was not concerned because she was filled with young innocence and an unsuspected nature. The creature was able to learn what unconditional love could feel like through this experience. Although whenever the rest of the cottage family returns, they reject the creature instantly and attack him.
