In stories there are significant objects that help the book move along, and without the objects the book would go no where. There is two objects in the book Frankenstein Lost Souls by Dean Koontz. Also in the previous book I read Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl there was a very significant object in that book as well. In the book Frankenstein Lost Souls one crucial object to the book was the needle gun.
This quote demonstrates Frankenstein’s degree of remorse and suggests to the reader how it will only get worse. Feeling responsible for the deaths of his younger brother William, Justine and the “vain sorrow” of his family, his anguish is at the degree that his soul is “torn by remorse, horror, and despair”. Furthermore, knowing that even if he tried to tell others, they would see it as the ravings of a madman. Even if they did believe him, due to the abilities of the monster, there was no hope in catching it. This inability to do anything further feeds his despair.
The first metaphorical idea this lightning represents is foreshadowing based off the topic of fear. Even in modern times, lightning is an object that many people fear because of the unknown aspects of it—it is unpredictable in its movement and consequences. In the time period that Frankenstein was written, lightning would have been even more of an unknown quantity because of less advanced technology. Shelley used lightning to foreshadow Frankenstein’s biggest fear: meeting the monster. And a little while later, on the mountain, this element of foreshadowing came to fruition, “I perceived, as the shape came nearer (sight tremendous and abhorred!)
In the novel Frankenstein, by Mary W. Shelley, it shows that both the creature and Victor have done some horrible things but morally what Victor has done is worse than the stuff done by the creature. Victor's horrendous actions start almost instantaneously in the novel; In chapter 5 pages 48, paragraph 4, it states “Oh! No mortal could support the horror of that countenance. A mummy again endued with animation could not be so hideous as that wretch.
The outer appearance of any human, does not mean they don't have human-like personalities. Therefore, the creature has every right to be called human because everyone looks different. Another thing they may say is that the creature has killed a lot of people, which doesn't make him human. However, there are tons of humans today that kill each other, and it is still a problem. People still murder each other today.
The concept of villainy is viewed in many novels and blockbuster films, with each villain having a meaning behind their terrible actions. Mary Shelley's Frankenstein is a great example, where both Victor and the creature commit horrendous acts, yet the true villain of the story can be drawn to be Victor Frankenstein. While the creature's actions certainly have a negligent impact, Victor's arrogance, ambition, lack of parental guidance, and responsibility towards the creature lead to his destruction and downfall of himself and to those around him. Victor Frankenstein can be seen as the true villain in Frankenstein because of his ambition and arrogance that leads to the destruction and horrific deaths throughout the story. One example that

Ray Comfort once said, “Rhetoric, which is the use of language to inform or persuade, is very important in shaping public opinion. We are easily fooled by language and how it is used by others”. Comfort explained what rhetoric is and what it is used for, to inform or persuade the public opinion. In the Gothic novel, Frankenstein, by Mary Shelley, rhetoric is used both to inform and persuade in hopes of shaping the public’s opinion. Victor Frankenstein informs the general public of the Creature's actions, while the Creature persuades the readers that he is not as bad as everyone made him out to be.
I would not be surprise how Victor 's creation had caused him so much stress and depression ever since Victor had created the creature, which then led up to his death. According to Gris Grimly 's Frankenstein, the creature had devoted himself to follow his creator, to cause him pain and suffering, he had done this to show Victor how he feels because he had read Victor 's notes saying how Victor felt about his creation, and the creature was not to ecstatic about reading that. Besides that, I believe Victor Frankenstein 's creature is not human, because of many reasons. Adding on, here are a few reasons why I believe Victor 's creature is not human. When Victor was on his death bed he had said, "he is eloquent and persuasive; and once his words had even power over my heart: but trust him not.
When Victor creates the creature he also abandons it. Once Frankenstein’s creature begins to murder off his family thus he begins’ to realize the importance of family. Caroline’s death contributes to Victor’s isolated nature.
In Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, the theme is prejudice and its effect on mankind. Throughout the story the creature explores one of mankind's most destructive flaws, prejudism. Every human the creature meets in the novel assume he is monster because of his appearance, when really the monster is kind and intellectual. One after another he is attacked by his creator, village and even families despite trying to befriend them. The violence and prejudice he faces shows him the evilness of man.
The desire to learn new things can be a beneficial habit, however, in certain scenarios, the outcome can be disappointing. The science fiction novel Frankensteins is a good example of this case. Victor quotes, “Learn from me, if not precepts, at least by my example, how dangerous is the acquirement of knowledge....” (Shelley, p.53). Frankenstein’s desire to learn new things changed his life forever by making his creation, which turned out to be an ugly monster.

If left unchecked, it can quickly grow out of control, consuming everything in its path and leading to its ultimate downfall. Several different characters in Frankenstein depict ambition, which includes the portrayal of ambition by Victor Frankenstein, Captain Walton, and the monster Frankenstein creates. Frankenstein is scientifically ambitious; his goal was to become accomplished within the scientific field by creating life.
In order to further understand the person who is Victor Frankenstein, we will analyze two specific quotes in which he ponders the consequences of creating his monster. The first specific quote that shows Dr. Frankenstein pondering the consequences of his actions is when he states, “but now that I had finished, the beauty of the dream vanished, and breathless horror and disgust fill my heart.” When Victor is initially building his creation, all he thinks of is the great science behind his work. However, he never once thinks of the consequences he may face once his creation becomes a reality.
