The French Revolution, which was the French, redesigned their political land scope. The Finch Revolution began in 1789 and ended in the 1790s. During this period there were three social classes. The first estate, which was made up of the clergy. The second estate was made up of the nobles. The third estate was made up of everyone else including the bourgeoisie ; which means middle class. The first and second estate usually paid most of the time no taxes. In the mean time the poorest people paid a lot of taxes. France had many problems such as being in debt mainly because of deficit spending . During the period King Louis XVI chose Jacques Necker as his financial handler. Necker wanted to start taxing the first and second estate. King Louis XVI then decided to call upon his estate general , lawmakers. King Louis XVI told each estate to prepare cahiers , which are notebooks that listed their complaints. During this time a mob stormed the royal palace. Radicals called for in a vote in a new legislator called the National convection . They gave all men rights to vote, which are known as suffrage . This was a just not property owner but all male citizens. This led to the trial and beheading of the King Louis and his family. France was now worried about other rebellion for doing this so they created the committee of public safety . Maximally Robespierre led the committee. He created the Reign of terror. This terror lasted from September 1793 to July 1794. This meant people would be on trial for resisting the revolution. A lot of these people were accused on Kaiser terms. They were beheaded by guillotine , this included Robespierre. After Robespierre death they turned to Napoleon Bonaparte to prevent
