Have you ever wondered how it felt to be forced to be married at the age of 13 years old? Most would say no. Juliet’s father wanted her to marry a man named Paris. However, Juliet had fallen in love with Romeo and did not want to marry Paris. I claim that the families themselves are responsible for their child’s deaths. Some might argue that Friar Lawrence should take the blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet, but he was only doing what they asked of him. The Friar was only trying to help people for the better. In Act 2, Scene 3, the Friar agrees to marrying Romeo and Juliet in hopes of ending the feud. He thinks that these two might have a chance at bringing the two families together and to stop the chaos. He was concerned on marrying them, but dreamed of what could happen in the end. Both Romeo and Juliet went for him to help them out and he couldn’t just turn them down. Unfortunately, they never did sort things out. Right away in Scene 1 of Act 1 there is a street fight that take place between the Capulets and Montagues. If they would’ve stopped fighting they could have saved their children from death. Sadly, the Capulets would never end the feud. They thought they were better and deserved to have the right to keep up the feud. Others also took part in the idea of not ending the feud like Tybalt. Tybalt would start a fight like it was nobody’s business. He was aggressive like many other Capulets. No effort was being put in to end the feud so it continued. However, if there had never been a fight between the two families both lovers could have lived a happy everlasting
