Some important fundamentals of the southern baptists are that they believe there is only one god. Which means this religion is monotheistic. They believe that god is the father, the son, and the holy spirit. They also believe that god created man. Also, if you are a southern baptist then you adhere very closely to the bible. If the member is baptised that means they are baptised in that church, but if they go to another southern baptist church maybe not in that particular area then they have to get baptised in that church too. Southern baptists view all people equal under gods eyes, and believe that the man in the family is the leader of the house, and protects the family. Southern Baptists believe that the Bible is the word of God and contains no errors. It is the sole rule of their faith. They have male only leadership. Women have a role in the Southern Baptist church. They participate in areas of church service, such as being on faculty. Women are not permitted to serve as ministers. Men serve as the pastors. In addition, Southern Baptists are located mostly in Alabama Georgia Mississippi and the southeast region of the United States. They have a Southern Baptist convention which is every year in June, and the purpose of the meeting is to provide a general organization for Baptists in the United States.
