What is an organization and what organization is I affiliated to and what does my organization? All of these questions I had to ask myself so I could write this essay. I am apart of many organization voluntary and non-voluntary. The one organization I will be elaborating on is my church. I will be examining my church, Cornerstone Peaceful Bible Baptist Church. This essay will be discussing a number of things like the structure, type of communication, rules, norms, and much more.

A lot of the norms and rules are for the staff of the church. For example the Pastor will meet with members of the church for help in many ways, like a death in the family, sickness in the family, couple counseling, children counseling, financial difficult, and more (Pattillo-McCoy, 1998). The communication networks are many in Cornerstone Peaceful Bible Baptist Church. First you have the face-to-face socializing in church before and after services (informal). My church also throws plays/musical production, banquets, which the normal congregation attends along with others that are invited by family and the church. The Pastor at our church also writes books, creates CD/DVD, and my Pastor is on a local cable channel every Sunday to give the word to those that cannot make it to church (formal). The last type of networking is the missions that some of our member and church staff attends to help the public and spread the word of God to new people. Organizational orientation can be found in every organization and it is not different in my church. There are great people at my church that love their jobs and or motivated to work every day they show up to work. There are those that are satisfied with their job and can handle their peers and supervisor on the day to day base. However everyone cannot handle their jobs or deal with their peers and supervisor in an objected way. I do appreciate when good and bad situation arise that the upper management will award or give great complements to those that are successful in their jobs and to those that need work they tell them behind closed doors what need to be changed so they can be more successful at work also. This is where
