A unique writer is someone who expresses his or her feelings throughout his narratives. Junot Diaz in my opinion is one of those unique writers. Growing up in the Dominican Republic, raced only by his hard working mother, Junot Diaz learned very valuable lessons in his childhood that helped him become whom he is today. Not only does Junot Diaz write great stories, but he also tends to give us a feeling of what is meant to be an immigrant from the Dominican Republic in his stories. Diaz humbleness and compassion towards others can be seen in this writing.
Thou Ortiz began to struggle, cultural dissonance shaping him starting to write about his thoughts and experience in his diary and started to create short stories

The short story, “A Very Old Man With Enormous Wings” by Gabriel Garcia Marquez is titled this because it shows that the characters don’t understand or appreciate how magnificent the angel is. When Pelayo and Elisenda first meet the angel, they “skipped over the inconvenience of the wings” and automatically assume that he is a “lonely castaway from some foreign ship wrecked by the storm,” (1). They view him as a “very old man lying face down in the mud,” (1). They don’t consider the possibility that he is an angel until their neighbor “who knew everything about life and death,” (1) tells them that he is one. Their newborn child is ill with “a temperature all night,” (1).
Another thing I enjoyed about his essay was how he totally related our minds with nature. For example, Lopez says that our imagination is carved by the things we have experienced in
Fear is an unpleasant caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain or a threat.(Mariams Webster). Fear is a thing we all hold inside of us, we are all scared of something or someone it 's just human nature. In Lord of the Flies, William Golding uses a unique way of showing how fear affects human behavior, he used the boys on the island to show how fear affects the behavior of humans and how the boy 's manner and mentality changed over time. From when the boys first came on the island they are actions were normal then later on as the boys started gaining the fear of the beast they started doing abnormal actions they took certain steps because of the fear in them that had been planted by the beast in this case. One of the main reasons fear is spread through the boys is the beast, though we find out the beast is nothing but their imagination.
