The relatively short story ‘Hatchet’ by award winning author ‘Gary Paulsen’ finds its protagonist, Brian Robeson, miraculously survive a plane crash after the pilot suddenly suffers a heart attack and dies at the wheel of the plane. With only the clothes on his back and a hatchet he was gifted with before the flight, Brian must adapt to the wilderness environment with the everlasting thought of never being rescued.
