I agree that herd behavior will increases as the size of the group increases. As the group become bigger, the group seem to be more pressure and powerful. Since everyone is doing the same thing, an individual will think that doing this thing is right and the lesser the risks will be. When humans group together and form a group, they may have accomplished certain consensus that links them together. So, as the size of a group increases, they seem to follow certain norms and trends that their group members did. For example, when an organization top manager praise one of the employees due to his hardworking and creative, others employees will also try to get the top manager appreciation by working harder. For example, a marketing department employees who always achieve the target that set by their boss, her other college will also wish to become him or her. In other words, every individual try to compare their self with other group members in the same time trying to be equal with them. In conclusion, herd behavior need to compromise in order to sustain it. The bigger the group, the greater conformity needed for herd to survive. Therefore, I believe that herd behavior will increases as the size of the group increases. In some ways, pack behavior have benefits. Pack behavior was seen most commonly in a circle of people with a collaborative purpose. The pack of people will be leaded by an individual in a group who can constraint and restrict the others individuals in the group. Leader will have more responsibilities and discipline within the pack and about the pack and leader will let everyone feel comfort in the pack.
