The three major social categories, which are race, class and gender, are highly considered and which plays a huge role in contributing in major decision towards inequality. Some groups have more advantages than others due to their race, class or gender. First of all, race plays a major role in inequality an individual categorises differently, yet race offers many privileges and advantages as opportunities are given to certain race group. For example, lets considerer whites, Hispanic and blacks all these race groups are offered different opportunities which are not equal some may be paid less, treated differently, given a job or a position at their work just because they are part of certain race group.

Class inequality is formed to divide up the society and to allow a certain group to dominate the economy. Class is caused the governments and the political system to form hierarchy structures which make classes have different values and powers assigned to people in different jobs as certain class groups have more advantages and capabilities than others. The more wealthier class group voices is considered more, they dictate and have more influence whilst they work with government sectors to get their own ways.
