In traditional gender roles, even though it puts out each gender’s best qualities, it also prevents individuals from expressing their true selves and blossoming into beautiful people. Therefore, traditional gender roles will be disposed of in today’s society.
In the story, Eve’s Apology, Aemilia Lanyer argues that Adam should be at fault, not Eve. Disposing of gender roles can more easily protect both genders equally and give them both a fighting chance when they’re accused. Blaming it on either party because of their gender is ethically wrong. They’re both at fault, because they both chose to take a bite of the forbidden fruit. Society blames Eve, because she was the first to take a fruit, and Adam gets blamed, because he shouldn’t have been persuaded by a woman, and should have taken control of the situation.
Traditional roles tend to prevent an individual from shining. As the traditional gender roles slowly disappear, we as a society, begin to notice an individual’s true talent. For example, in a traditional society a woman would stay home and be the best caregiver she could be. Nowadays, women are taking initiative to go to work.

Close your eyes and think of your children, or your future children. They’re laughing and having a great childhood. Then in a split second, they’re grown, and all that you have taught them, was to follow society and not be themselves. You told your son, “ Don’t cry, men don’t cry.” and you told your daughter, “ put that down, that is a man’s job”. Simply telling them these things, shapes them into the person they are. They can’t express who they truly are in fear of disappointing you. If traditional gender roles are gone, society can function better and it’s all thanks to individuals. In brief, I believe getting rid of traditional gender roles could be valuable in an individual's morality. Maybe eventually our society could be better as all individuals work together, regardless of their
