The movie “Gladiator by Ridley Scott” was the contemporary representation of Roman empire contains views of betrayal, leadership, and politics. The movie general plot was to present a Roman. Ancient Rome was duplicated in “Gladiator as the most powerful empire on Earth. “The film is loosely based on real events that occurred within the Roman Empire in the latter half of the 2nd century AD” (Griffin). The film provided a simulation of historical viewpoint of the Roman empire.
