In the firearm industry, Glock has set themselves apart from other companies in this industry. For instance, Gaston Glock started his company in 1981, putting them as one of the youngest company to enter the firearms industry (Barrett, 2012). Equally important, Glock’s design comes from listening to its customers and professional firearm instructors. Glock in a short period of time has become one of the most popular firearms in The United States (Grant, 2012). The Glock 19X was the model that was entered to replace the Berretta M9 for the Department of The Army (Scotti, 2017).
