This is a review of the Bain De Soleil SPF 4 Orange Gelee. It's a classic sunscreen and tanning lotion that's been around for generations. It's an iconic tanning product that's been in beach bags throughout the years. There's a reason it's a classic, and people love using it at the beach.
Our hypothesis was partially correct, the property changing substances did have the weakest coherency with the lowest drop counts of 23(carbonated), and 14(soap), and pure water did have the strongest bond. What we also found was the the salt also dampened the liquid’s ability to hold onto a penny in large volumes, as all the different salts had a drop average of 24(28x2 & 16), five less than Tap water’s drop count (30). This led us to conclude that pure water has the strongest bond and that all foreign materials weaken the coherency of water. This evidence has led me to believe that similar substances are attracted and are more coherent towards themselves, in this case the water pieces get separated and generally less connected on a really small level due to the obstruction of foreign objects, this is why the different salts perform better than the huge air bubbles or the slippery properties of soap since the latter is more obstructive and the former dissolves with the water and blocks less. When studying a few other groups’ conclusions and data we did indeed find differences: some groups had differing data where a solution had better coherence than water itself which led to differing conclusions.
Purpose: The purpose of this experiment is to investigate the movement of water into and out of a polymer. Hypotheses: • If Gummi Bears are submerged in tap water and distilled water, they will expand due to osmosis in order to create equilibrium in hypotonic solution • If Gummi Bears are submerged in salt water, they will decrease inside to create equilibrium in a hypertonic solution Materials: • 2 Gummi Bears • 2 plastic 8oz cups • 2 forks • Distilled water • Centimeter rule • Saturated salt solution • Paper towels • Electric scale • Permanent marker Procedures: 1. Obtain two plastic cups and two different color bears. 2.
Describe and give an example of diffusion Diffusion is when molecules moving freely through the space, it requires no energy. An example is when someone sprays a febreze in an area then the molecules slowly spread in the area. Which solution caused the egg to have the most mass? The least?
Pain Project I was talking to Mrs. Salvador and we were talking about natural remedies she mentioned how a potato has a lot of medicinal properties including reducing inflammation and that when used as a poultice can be used to treat inhibit infection, and inflammation, as well as a slight pain relief of soars and burns. She also told me a story about how there was a missionary that she knew who was in the mission felid and a patient came in whose whole body was covered in burns and wounds. The doctors told them that she was going to die but they didn't give up. They made potato poultices out of 100 pounds of potato and changed it every four hours. And that person walked away from those burns alive, and with minimal scaring.
). De-emulsified is not a common word in the English language, and even the most educated in society could very well have never come across it. If Lars was trying to simply instruct his readers how to Dumpster Dive, he would have chosen a simpler word that more people would be likely to know. However, Lars chose a word such as “de-emulsified” to emphasize that digging through trash does not mean one is incapable or uneducated, ultimately increasing his credibility and intelligence among the reader. Another example of this can be seen in the following statement “
What significant physical properties of blood determine the shape of a blood drop in flight? A blood drop, which can be either a single drop or in large volumes, are held together by strong cohesive molecular forces that produces a surface tension within each drop and on the external surface. Surface tension are forces that pulls the surface molecule of liquid toward its interior, and decreases, as the force pulls the surface, causing the liquid to resist penetration. Gravity begins accelerating the drop downward, and the trajectory will take the drop to the floor or ground or whatever other object intervenes in its flight.

How to make a peanut butter jelly? It’s really easy and simple. First, you need to prepare all the ingredients you will need of how to make a peanut butter jelly. Second, get the two slices of bread and put them in the plate. Then get the first slice of bread and put the peanut butter in it using knife and spread the peanut butter all over the bread.
Why should it be oil-free? The problem with using oil-based makeup remover is that the oil sets in the lash band, so the next time you will use your falsies the glue will not stick to the lash
The songs "Lip Gloss", "Gucci Gucci", "Modern Girl", and "Rebel Girl" examine the different, yet similar coping mechanisms for solitude. In the songs "Lip Gloss" and "Gucci Gucci", the singers have discovered methods of dealing with their loneliness. In "Lip Gloss", the singer shelters herself from her peers through her "popping" lip gloss. Through the repetition of the phrase "what you know 'bout me", the singer reveals that nobody genuinely understands her personality.
In the “Candy Waterfall” project, the effects that size and shape have on the rate of mass flow are tested through the use of multiple different granular materials going through a funnel. In lower grade levels students are taught about the three types of matter: solids, liquids, and gases. What are not explained are materials like sand: you can stand on sand like a solid, but you can also pour it out of a bucket like a liquid. Materials like sand are known as granular materials. By testing the rate of granular flow, factories that need to put food into packaging will be able to package products properly if engineers know exactly how fast the item flows out of the machinery.
Water on hydrophobic surfaces will display a high contact point. Superhydrophobic surfaces are exceptionally hydrophobic, i.e., greatly hard to wet. The contact angle of a water droplet surpasses 150° and the contact angle hysteresis is under 10°. This is also referred to as the Lotus impact, after the superhydrophobic leaves of the lotus plant. Rough and microstructured surfaces characteristically build hydrophobicity of hydrophobic surfaces through two altogether
Soap’s Effect on The Surface Tension Of Water By: Lusinda Garcia Biology I - Pre-AP December 10, 2017 Introduction Surface tension is when the surface of a liquid that’s in contact with gas, acts like a thin elastic sheet. Water has a high level of surface tension, which means that when the molecules on the surface of water are not surrounded by similar molecules on all sides, they're being pulled by cohesion from other similar molecules deep inside. These molecules bind to each other strongly but stick to the other mediums weakly. It has been proven many times that soap decreases water’s surface tension; however, there is still a vast amount of people that believe soap increases the elasticity of water’s surface tension. Soap’s negative
Rediet Legese iLab Week # 6 CRUDE OIL DISTILLATION Introduction: The aim of this week lab experiment is to experiment distill crude oil and to check how temperature determine the chemical properties of crude oil plus how the boiling point can also show physical properties. They are two major finding in this experiment. he first finding was the point at which the raw petroleum is heated to the point of boiling, at 275 0C, the gas and kerosene oil are refined, however the oil (lubricant ) stays as an unrefined feature oil.
