Goat Simulator is a game made for humor and entertainment for all players who have access to the game. Traditional game design principles are to limit bugs, and good scoring system, and a well-polished game. Goat Simulator is the opposite of a traditional game design, the game is buggy, unpolished, and the scoring system is not used to full effect. To cover all the flaws the game was made for a joke, the physics of the game made Goat Simulator humorous. Goat Simulator was mostly made for discovering places and having a fun time with the mechanics of the game. Goat Simulator is all about how happy the user is while playing the game. This distracts players from the bugginess and unpolished the game is. The game is an open world game, allowing players to explore, while the goat can jump, run, lick, and bash into objects. The game is extremely buggy and there is no main goal of this game. Once in awhile, we need games like Goat Simulator just to have fun and not worry about an objective. Goat Simulator can be a stress reliever to some people because it’s generally a fun game to play. Not all games have to follow a traditional game design, and Goat Simulator was an example of unorthodox game. Goat Simulator was a game out of a joke, and the success of that game is outstanding. Goat Simulator is a draw to most people because of the freedom the game gives the user. Players can enjoy themselves while having fun playing the game with friends. Even though the game has tons of bugs the players can still connect to the game because of the freedom that has been given to the players.
