Throughout the history of sports there have been many great rivalries. Whether it’s Frazier vs. Ali or Bird vs. Magic these battles of superiority have forever left their mark on history. Sadly, it seems that these types of marquee matchups are a thing of the past. Star athletes are now choosing to team up with one another as a way of escaping head to head matchups so that they can enjoy an easier path to a championship. That being said, I believe that the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers are in the midst of one the biggest rivalries in NBA history. Over the last decade LeBron James has dominated professional basketball. Before 2015 he had won four MVP awards and lead his team to two NBA championships. However, that would not be the case. After facing much scrutiny for his poor play, Curry responded in game four by dissecting the Cavaliers from long range.
