LeBron James managed to secure his “throne” atop the NBA community through pure determination and a dream. His life has played out like a fairytale or a cheesy eighties movie. The road he took to achieve his spot in history was no easy one; the process was long, hard, and emotionally draining. The past few years had seen hundreds of hours in the gym, hundreds of nights visualizing, and hundreds of games where he came to play. LeBron became the first player in high school, history to win the national player of the year award before he was even a senior. He won two more state championships and had now climbed the rankings to an all-american. Every step he had taken was paying off, and he had earned a new nickname because of it. He won rookie of the year, became the youngest to reach many scoring milestones, became the youngest player to record a triple double (double digit stats in three categories), and many more records and milestones were broken and reached. He had solidified his greatness in that aspect, but now it was time for championships. He was able to accomplish this feat by winning three championships by the time he was thirty three and even winning one for Cleveland which he promised as an eighteen year old to do.
