The Gospel of Matthew is the first book of the New Testament that identifies Jesus as the Son of Abraham and the Son of David. Matthew introduces the kingdom to Israel in the flesh of Jesus of Nazareth, however the kingdom could only be established if the King was rejected. This comes to say that the Seed of Abraham appearance would conduct “redemption to humanity”. When a person has sinned, it has to be dealt with, before one can enjoy God’s kingdom. Matthew has a few remarkable things to say about Christ's deity. Matthew mentions how Jesus is God manifested in the flesh which is the same thing John had said "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God...and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us..." (John 1:1-14). Jesus' deity was declared at his own baptism. In chapter three Matthew mentions when Jesus' was being baptized the three persons of the Trinity manifested in various ways such as how the Father identified Jesus as His Son. They claimed saying "...If you are God's son, come down form the cross!" They genuinely wanted a reaction from Jesus but as promised "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16). The Lord gave his only Son to die for our sins and has been said in many gospels it was warned and talked about. In the Last Supper Jesus said "this is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed on behalf of many for the forgiveness of sins." (Matthew 26:28). It wasn't as if it was unexpected people knew it was coming, it was just up to them if they really wanted to follow Jesus' steps. This gospel describes the unfair trial of Jesus that were made by the Jewish high priest who wanted to find somebody that would testify against Jesus. Jesus was found guilty of blasphemy therefore the Jewish council had asked what punishment He deserved. "They answered, 'He deserves death.' Then they spat in his face and struck him" (Matthew 26:57-68). The Romans were the ones who actually, crucified Him. It was under the authority of Pontius Pilate, the Roman governor who sentenced Jesus. They pierced nails into His hands and feet, and one of them pierced His side. (Matthew 27:27-35). The fact that God himself put his own Son to death
