An Eledgy Grandma Ellen We all have people we respect, that we love, who has passed on. We have people that have passed on, stick close to our mind at times. Some people, you might have been closer to than others. I know someone I respect, love, and miss. My grandma Ellen was a very wonderful, and respectable woman. One thing I loved about my grandma Ellen is that she was a strong, and devoted christian. She went to the First Baptist Church in Fort Scott Kansas. She read the Bible a lot, and to keep doing that is a very good thing. It’s hard to stay close to God at points in time, because you get caught up in life, but he is a forgiving God. I believe that my grandmother, my dad’s mother, was always close to God. I respect that, because that’s a hard thing to do. She was raised that way. I know, because she was a devoted christian, that she is in heaven, with Jesus, today. …show more content…

She gave a lot of time and effort to her church, and always gave us clothes. She would always send us money in the mail, for our birthdays and christmas. I regret not calling her much, or calling her to thank her for the money. I don’t know why I didn’t but I should have, because it’s today that I realize how thankful I am. On thanksgivings and summers were when I could see her most. One thanksgivings, she would make us the best food anyone has ever tasted, in my opinion. I loved the fact that she would buy and prepare us a lot of food. I am so thankful for her giving
