Throughout our time in high school, we all must have read books at some point and ended up liking it. Whether it is filled with action, drama, mystery, and it is dark. The Great Gatsby is a book we all must have read or heard at least once before. It is a book that has an interesting plot that's never boring. It describes places with such simplicity and detail, and each character reacts differently, which makes it interesting and refreshing. The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald is a great book despite many characters having false personas, but like Gatsby and Nick I am fond of Gatsby's loyalty and Nick's humane personality. The plot of the Great Gatsby is an interesting one with a constant mystery at hand keeping the readers at a guess of every character. Each character has their own background which makes finding out more enjoyable which is great for a book. As noted “he was nephew or a cousin of Kaiser Wilson helm’s” (Fitzgerald 32) Indicating rumors of Jay Gatsby being a man who is related to such a known person, makes you curious whether it's true or not. Each and every person's emotions contribute to the story with reactions that have a way of changing the way we see them. As written “He talked a lot about the past, and I gathered that he wanted to recover something” (Fitzgerald 132) This indicates that the amount of things his life has gone through his faith has never faltered. This tells the kind of character and emotion that Gatsby has as a person who. Another started when “I hope she'll be a fool – that's the best thing a girl can be in this world, a beautiful little fool.” (Fitzgerald 21) implying that the girl who everyone saw had only one thought of her and it's that she was beautiful. But emotions that she is portrayed throughout the story changes our view of her, changing the story
