Grimm Holmes, we called it, was an odd place. It’s name came from its appearance, mystery, and questions - many of which are still unanswered. No one went near the house, with the exception of Mr. Greywood who would run past it during his daily jogs, though even he kept a safe distance. The house stuck out as a sore thumb compared to the land it clutched to so desperately. Grimm Holmes resided at the end of the street, at the bottom of hill, on a flat strip of land surrounded by field and forest. The field was brimming with tall plain cream grass with hints of green, wild flowers of many hues, and had a sole willow tree that seeming to weep for Grimm Holmes in the middle of a site bursting with life.
