My alternate ending of Gullivers travel has more of an interesting twist. Instead of Gulliver’s son finding the little lamb, which helps prove his father truthful, he is going to see into the world of Gulliver’s tales bringing back more proof on why Gulliver is not crazy. During Gulliver’s court case, his son curiously peeks into a whale after hearing a quiet cry and falls inside. Surprisingly and magically, he enters into the world of Cookie Butter. Where all things are made of deserts and other sweets. The people appear drastically small, which shocks the boy, who now knows Gulliver is not crazy and now has to return home and tell the mighty men that his father is telling the truth. Down in the valley of Sour Straw, he finds a lonely lady hidden behind a stack of cookies that is crying. The boy asks, “What’s the matter, wanderer of this land.” The lady proceeds to respond, “I have been cursed to be alone until my one true love finds me, by a wicked witch.” “Oh, no! That’s terrible. Maybe I can help.” The boy explains. After telling her about the King and his request, she proclaims that it could be a great idea to meet such a man. Days later the boy returns with the King, and at first sight the woman is unleashed from her curse and runs with every unfamiliar step towards this stranger who holds true love. In deed they fell in love, and the king kept his promise to send the boy home, but not before the King gives him a pet monkey as a reward. The boy realizes that this monkey could free his dad, causing him to hold onto the monkey with all his might as they are both magically spun out of Cookie Butter world, and appear right outside of the whale on the
