What do you think when you hear the phrase gun control? For many people, they think to ban guns from every citizen’s hands and take away their second amendment. Gun control takes away our constitutional rights. Americans should should be able to bear arms, as long as you not culpable of any crimes. If they are taken away it would be a violation of our constitution that our founding fathers established over 200 years ago.
Conversely, so far in 2016 we have had 13,000 deaths by firearms. That’s been a decrease from the 2015 by 600 deaths. Now of those 13,600 people that died, who died as a result of a mean criminal. Well, no one has that statistic, but more than likely there are a lot more than accidents. If the government takes away our guns, the criminal will still get its hands on it, kind of like drugs. Legally by the Constitution we have the right to bear arms. Americans have the right to own pistols, shotguns, rifles because we are a special country that lets its citizens have firearms in their possession. The amendment is our rights and by taking that away you are infringing the rights of an American citizen. For that we should introduce our amendments, so that people know what our rights truly are as a citizen of the United States of America. Our country will crumble from the inside out if we take away the gun laws that we have. The 300 million guns right now in the united states, where will they proceed. Exactly, no one has thought of that because we are so focused on just getting rid of them. Our country should focus more on trying to stop the criminals from getting in reach of guns.
