America had many political and social issues that arose throughout it history as a nation. America today faced with terrorism, rights, its own government, and finally gun control. Gun control is a very complex and complicated issue that steamed debates in congress. Guns in America should be banned to protect the lives of it citizens. However, banning guns create dissents of the gun carrying population, constitutional crisis, and there are other ways to kill people. Therefore banning guns is not a good idea and enacting defense measures will limit the impact.

Type of people against the gun ban are the “ideologically pure” that can cause mass amount of public participation. Ideologically Pure mean Far left or Right with your political ideals and way of life. National organizations like the National Rifle Association will denounce or lobby down any bill that called for a gun ban. Then you got people that exercise their 2nd amendment rights and open carry laws in their states. These activists are the most outspoken and participate in any public rally that pertain to their beliefs. In 2008 the Supreme have ruled that the 2nd amendment is an individual right that can’t be stepped by the government. This mean any congressional action to ban guns have to be considered an amendment, because that the only way to overturn a supreme court decision. I predict a ban on guns will cause the 2nd American Civil war, because We have extremist for gun rights. These people are not going to give up their guns without a fight and will defend their way of life.
