On Tuesday November 17, the seventh-grade had to do a whole bunch of activities that worked on getting fit and building some type of muscle in the gym. They also had to do a warm up consisting of jogging, push-ups, and sit ups.
When the 8th grade walked into the seventh-grade gym class, they observed students racing during their warm up. The energetic kids had to jog around the gym while listening to music for four minutes. The kids were running so fast like they were going black Friday shopping at Target. Some of the kids started to slow down as the music continued. After the four minutes were up, it was time for sit ups and push ups. Every single kid in the gym had to do ten push-ups first and then ten sit ups. All kids were now done with their warm up and it was then time for groups.

Only one-third had to go to the learning about different muscles of the body group. There were seven stations that the kids had to go to and work on a type of muscle. The teacher showed the kids a demonstration of what to they should be doing for that particular station. After that, they picked partners and went to the correct station they were assigned to. Every three to five minutes the teacher would blow the shrieking whistle and the kids would have to rotate to a different station. After all the stations, it was time for the seventh graders to change back into their school clothes and leave gym class. The teacher showed the kids seven different ways on how to grow your muscles.
