There was a huge storm. It hit Beach City on the day of Halloween, October 31, 1984. The day Larry the Lobster was murdered six years ago. The murderer was never found, and rumors spread like wildfire. It was a ghost! There were no footprints, or anything, and Larry was killed on Halloween. It`s obviously a ghost! Larry`s family couldn`t take all the rumors, or his death in general, so they left Beach City after Larry`s funeral was held. Soon most citizens in Beach City believed that the beach was cursed, even if they didn`t believe there was a ghost. One year later, eight teenagers thought it would be fun to go to the "haunted beach" on Halloween. Things didn`t go well for them. The group was last seen October 31, Halloween, 1979. No one knows what happened to them. No footprints. No blood. Even one old man known to walk around the beach knew nothing. Half the population of the town moved. Each year this kept happening, fearless, or in this case stupid, individuals and groups went out to the beach on Halloween. Nobody ever came back. Search teams searched and searched however they never found any clues. People tried going to the beach on days other than Halloween, but nothing ever happened. It can`t just be a coincidence that there was going to be a storm on Halloween just like the night Larry the Lobster was killed. My parents didn`t believe in the ghost although I wanted to know for myself. My best friend, Flubersnorf wanted to check the ghost out too so we decided to go together. At least if we get kidnapped or killed we`ll do it together. At around 7 p.m., Flubersnorf came to my house to get ready.
