Hamlet: Race: Caucasian male Age: early 30’s, Height: 5’10, Eye Color: Blue Hair Color:dirty blonde Dislikes: Claudius (uncle), Polonius (ex-girlfriends father), traitors, whores, fighting depression. Likes: Ophelia (ex-girlfriend), Gertrude (mother), getting revenge, killing people, plays, compassionate towards one he likes Hamlet is the prince of Denmark. He loved his late father King Hamlet before his uncle committed a crime. Hamlet claims he has seen a ghost of his late father. Hamlet’s father proceeds to tell Hamlet that Claudius killed the late king. Hamlet’s goal is to kill Claudius to get revenge and let his father rest in peace. Likes: Gertrude (wife), being King, wine, poison, spying on others, killing others, planning Hamlet’s death. Claudius was the new king of Denmark. He wasn’t meant to be the king. Claudius killed his brother to become the royal king. He put poison in his brother’s ear. The entire kingdom thought he had died from natural causes, so no one besides Claudius knows the truth. Once Claudius becomes the king and marries Gertrude, Hamlet begins to become insane. One night, Hamlet’s best friend approaches family and tells Hamlet that they saw a ghost. Hamlet claims that it was the ghost of his late father, King Hamlet states to Hamlet how King Claudius killed the late king. Hamlet plans to get revenge. Claudius acts this way due to him wanting the royal power and will kill anything or anyone to keep his throne. CLaudius ends up dying from his nephew/son. They obey Claudius’s orders by taking Hamlet to get killed in England. Hamlet switches letters and the letter states to kill Rosencrantz & Guildenstern instead of Hamlet. Even though Rosencrantz and Guildenstern were friends of Hamlet, he still didn’t trust them. Hamlet felt that he was alone in the world so when he saw the letter that was sent with Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, he immediately thought that they planned the whole trip to England just to kill him. When in fact, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern knew nothing about the letter and they were just doing what they were told. This was just a case of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern being put in a bad situation that they had no choice but to be in.
