Laws are what make places socially organized, safe and easier to control. Laws make it so that it isn't hard to live day to day life comfortably. Thanks to the superiors and Hammurabi, Babylon who started making the first laws in 1772 BC, people all around the world have laws. It's important that we have laws because if the laws are broken there's specific consequences that nobody likes. Sometimes the consequences last a lifetime. The only difference between the laws of now and back in the 1700's is that there is less of the consequence being death. Only longer jail sentences. The laws help to put every group of citizens with the same problems in one spot. So that the government can help them all (or at least most of them) at once."One of the main functions of our laws is to organize society in order to maximize productivity and increase efficiency," said by Anthony Jones in "Hammurabi's Code of Laws." So it wouldn't be that much different from the regular everyday lives. So if there's an emergency and the police show up ask everybody to evacuate, the civilians probably wouldn't be stubborn because they're okay with the laws. The people that aren't okay with the laws will most likely be uncooperative and would have to be punished for not following the laws. Since the majority of citizens are comfortable with the laws, it'll be easier to "zero in" on the rebel. More citizens that are okay with the laws also means a higher safety
