I learned that the Harlem Renaissance was one of the biggest out burst of many different art and culture. The reason that African Americans moved was because to find better paying jobs, because in the south wages were very compact. New York was also filled with black people after WWI. Harlem produced a richness like none before. Many events happened.

The Art and Music in Harlem Renaissance was spectacular. 1917 a major theater production was one of the popular production of the cultural event. The music consisted of mostly spirituals and blues. Jazz was also a major genera of music. This was to expressed themselves through their art. One of the most important aspects of this project to me would be the social impact and the art/music.
