Over the years, there have been many conversations about replacing Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill with another historical figure. Harriet Tubman made many significant contributions to the world as we know it. After escaping from slavery herself, she worked tirelessly to free others. For years, Tubman dedicated herself to this and didn’t worry about the fact that she was endangering herself by taking these trips. This shows that Tubman is a very brave, selfless person who would do anything in her power to help others. Due to this, Tubman should be the person to replace President Jackon’s face on the $20 bill. With her being on the $20 bill, it would remind all citizens of the courage and strength she was able to showcase during such a rough time in the country’s lengthy history, and it would in turn encourage others to show that same bravery and courageousness. In addition, Harriet Tubman should be added to the $20 bill because it would help showcase the United States diversity. It would shed light on the experiences that minorities have had in the United
