HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER 'S STONE

Harry Potter is the boy who lived, he is the only one who survives the cruel attack of The Dark Lord. Voldemort kills Harry 's parents along with numerous other witches and wizards back in war days in the wizarding world. 1 year old orphan is left on his mean Aunt Petunia 's porch who is ashamed of being related to any kind of magical person. Therefore, his aunt and uncle raise Harry without letting him know anything either about his parents or about his magical abilities. They treat him like a slave, they make poor Harry do all the house chores while spoiling their pretentious son Dudley.

They think that it has something to do with Voldemort who had lost all his strength after failing to kill Harry. After months of research and dangerous spying, they find out that Sorcerer 's Stone is hidden in the school. The power of this stone is to make someone immortal.

At first they suspect professor Snape. Having figured out where the stone is hidden, they go there in hopes of preventing the theft. They come across lots of dangerous and scary traps that are put there by professors of Hogwarts in order to protect the stone. They manage to get past them.

At last, only Harry gets inside the room that the stone is hidden in. He sees professor Quirrel with his turban. When Quirrel takes his turban off, Harry sees a two-faced-man. He finds out that all this time, his defence against the dark arts teacher had carried Voldemort 's weak soul at the back of his …show more content…

That mirror shows someone 's deepest desires. When Quirrel looks at it he says he sees himself holding the Sorcerer 's Stone. Then Harry looks at it and he sees himself putting the stone in his pocket. Then he really feels the stone in his pocket. He magically gets the stone because he has no desire of using it.
