Many arguments have been brought forward as to whether internet has made people less intelligent or not. The very conservative minds have it that this modern technology has taken the world by storm, and soon all the human races shall lose their intelligence. To them, the internet has done more damage than good to this generation. They condemn the modern methods of learning, and interactions through internet. It is meant to teach, to instruct, to direct, to share ideas, gain knowledge, and to retrieve the meaning of words. These days, many colleges have transition to online, and are teaching their students through the internet. Online learning has a number of advantages. Firstly, it allows students to learn at any time and place. Another benefit of learning online is the fact that it allows students to carry out their own research from the available sources published in the internet. Students may take advantage of journals published and other resources such as online libraries, to ensure they obtain the required information. Is this what some people would like to call “making people less intelligent?” Does getting access to information quickly make you less intelligent? A. Anyone saying that the internet has made us less intelligent is not rational in the mind.
B. Any sane mind can argue that there are numerous benefits of the internet.
C. As much as it has influenced certain undesired behaviors in the youth, it has greatly improved the level of our intelligence in various ways
D. Do not listen to that person disputing this fact. That person does not understand technology.
