United States health care system, is one of America’s important political issue. Health care should available for both poor and middle class people. It’s difficult for people who are unemployed to afford insurance, since most people obtain insurance through their jobs. Their employer set up a system, where employees would pay half of the health insurance by paying monthly. But for the people who is unemployed they would have to pay the whole amount out of their pockets. Usually a person would have to go on government assistance like Medicare or Medicaid.
Medicare “is the federal long-term health insurance program. It provides insurance for elderly non-working people, as well as younger people with disabilities who are unable to work” (“www.ontheissues.org”).

So, not only does United States health care eliminate people that is unemployed. But it also does not provide for people that does not have any disabilities. Other countries like England and Canada develop a program that provide their people with free health care. America have a different government system than other countries, like America’s political views focus is more on democracy. The countries that provide their citizens with free health insurance have government legislative officials that target their programs to help to improve their citizens. These countries like Japan, Germany, France, China, the U.K., Italy, Canada, Brazil, Spain and Australia still manage to spend less on health care than United States (“Obamacarefacts.com”). America is more of a money hungry country that would rather tax their people than to create a better system that help people. As a congresswomen of Maryland 4th Congressional District, you should use the Affordable Care Act to help solve the health care issue in Maryland. The Affordable Care Act supply any person with health insurance. Americans are able to receive free health insurance with no job, and they do have to fit criteria of the Medicare or Medicaid. The ACA will allow a person to pay a
