The male Hercules beetles have giant pinchers that can grow longer than their own body. The Hercules beetle is an omnivore. They mainly eat rotting wood, fruit, small insects, and plant matter. They are mainly found in South America, in the tropical jungle or rainforest areas. Despite their strength and their scary features, the Hercules beetle is threatened and so is its habitat.
